What we collect
- Account details: your email address and, if you sign in with Google, the basic profile information Google shares (name and email).
- Order details: name, delivery address, phone number if provided, items ordered, amounts paid and order status.
- Payment details: handled by Stripe. We receive confirmation of payment but not your full card number.
- Messages: emails you send us and messages you type into our AI shopping assistant.

Why we use it (lawful basis)
- To take payment, fulfil and deliver your order, and send order emails and receipts — performance of a contract.
- To keep tax and accounting records — legal obligation.
- To prevent fraud, secure accounts and answer support requests — legitimate interests.
- To count visits to improve the shop — consent, which you can withdraw at any time in Cookie settings.
We do not sell your personal data and we do not currently send marketing emails.
Who we share it with
- Stripe — payment processing and fraud prevention.
- Our suppliers and fulfilment partners (such as Avasam and the sellers who dispatch your items) — your name, delivery address and ordered items, so they can send your parcel.
- Google — if you choose Google sign-in.
- Our hosting, database and email-sending providers — to run the website, store orders and send order emails.
- An AI model provider — messages typed into the shopping assistant are processed to generate replies.
Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on the safeguards they provide (for example UK adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses). [To be confirmed: list of international transfers and safeguards, to be reviewed]
How long we keep it
Order and payment records are kept for as long as needed for accounting and tax purposes (generally six years). [To be confirmed: retention periods for accounts, support emails and visit statistics]
